1st & 2nd wave

Hi!

Right now we have the rule that if only intact ships of one alliance
are left all 2nd wave object enter immediately.

So if player A has 1st and 2nd wave objects and B only 2nd wave
objects then all objects fight together in one wave. But this is not
satisfying as the 2nd wave objects of B would first meet the 1st wave
object of A.

So I thought that the rule

"If a player (or alliance) has only 2nd wave objects then these object
become 1st wave if there are hostile objects which are set to enter in
1st wave."

would help.

But B could send 1 little cheap ship in 1st wave and the big fleet in
2nd wave again let his main fleet fight against the 2nd wave objects
of A which were intended to be protected by the 1st wave objects of A.

So now I will try to implement is as "really spatial waves":

2nd A ---- 1st A -> <- 1st B ---- 2nd B

...................C....................
..................1st...................
...................|....................
...................|....................
...................^....................
...................|....................
...................|....................
...................|....................
...................C....................
..................2nd.................

(don't kow if format is saved)

Rule:

If there is no intact 1st wave object of an alliance present then the
player's (or alliance's) 2nd wave objects enter immediately.

We now have the rule that ALL 2nd wave objects of all players enter if
only one party has intact objects left.

We stick with the rule that in tick 300 all remaining "waiting"
objects will enter.

Good?

That's definitely the way to go! Forcing those objects to join, which
have no
other objects buying them time.

Like you said, with the current rules you can choose to force all
objects to
1st wave by setting all your objects to 2nd wave (that's rather
weird).

Yes all objects that weren't forced to join before, enter at that
point of time.

Rick has the code. I have also made engineless ship moving (very
slowly) and disabled ships cannot powerboost their super weaons
anymore.
