In this version the fighter are back to crappy.

For a more blanced VCR the speed of all ships moving in the VCR should
be divided by 2. (But keep the fighter speed like they are now).

This would give the fighter a little chance, and let the most powerful
ships, like the Lizard trex with 1 SC 14 PPC, TL PD, w190, take some
PTT before closing in and killing everything.

Are you able to give more details?

You can use the hconfig parameters to adjust ship/wing speed/
acceleration.

What's the detailed problem you see so that you want to adjust the
ship mobility?

Fast warp ship like the Lizard T-Rex close enemy ships too fast, all
weapon range become meaning less, PPC and high armor rule the sky.
The T-Rex is so fast that he can go faster than almost all figthers,
so he can use short PD like turbo laser to kill even long range
fighter.

The default acceleration for ship should be divided by 2 of what it is
now, the top speed of ships should also be reduced by 25%, or 50%.
Fast warp ship move faster than fighter and close other ships way too
fast.

Try a T-Rex on Ram, Target Dangerous, Antifighter.
1 SC, 14 PPC, TL, W190
It will close anything fast and kill it, ships fighters.

I agree that there is a huge difference between fighter effectiveness
from 213 to 213c, however I don't think that it has to do with being
vulnerable to ship speeds. Doing a sim with the aforementioned t-rex
and 900 type 2 peep fighters with 213 the fighters won with only a
loss of 100 fighters. With 213c the fighters barely get through any
armor (a feature of the T-rex no doubt, eh?) before being wiped out
and 2 wings die off just when getting to damage the hull and 3 wings
kill it and get a way with 400-600 fighters remaining.

First off I thought fighters were way too powerful in 213 to begin
with.

I didn't really notice that the T-rex gained that much of an advantage
from maneuverability, it has more to do with the fighter's adjusted
firing rate I'm guessing. It appears to me to have gone from 'Near
instant death' if a ship were to stumble within range of the fighters
to 'Advantage ship.'

Perhaps somewhere in the middle??? Dunno...

T-Rex or any ship speedd did not change from 213 to 213C.
Only the fighter damage where reduced in 213C
Giving another bonus to fast armored ship like the T-rex.

Or to fast Scav inna.

The fighter chance in 213c reduce their power too much, we should go
back to 213b for fighter power, or something in between, in host 213c
fighter are back to useless.

d'accord

But for this I had to know why the hit chances are so bad in 213c :( In a
mystic way they changed without intention.

...I'm currently bug hunting...
